Meet Our Moderator

David Hauser brings decades of leadership experience in architecture, construction management, facilities maintenance, and nonprofit service to his role as Moderator of St. Andrew United Church of Christ. His career spans senior management positions overseeing large‑scale development, national maintenance operations, and multi‑disciplinary project teams for major retail, food service, and community organizations.

A collaborative communicator and systems‑minded strategist, David has led teams in design, construction detailing, quality assurance, and operational planning—always with a focus on efficiency, integrity, and empowering people to succeed. His background also includes founding and directing nonprofit initiatives, guiding organizations through growth, branding, and community engagement.

David’s lifelong commitment to service is reflected in his extensive volunteer leadership, from Habitat for Humanity to emergency management and inclusive recreation programs. At St. Andrew UCC, he brings this same spirit of stewardship, compassion, and practical wisdom to support the congregation’s mission of welcome, justice, and community.
